Directions from London/Chelmsford
- Leave the A12 at junction 29, then at roundabout take the third exit onto the A1232 (signposted Colchester)
- At traffic lights turn right onto Severalls Lane and then at the mini roundabout turn left onto Brinkley Lane.
- Go straight over the roundabout and then take the fourth exit at the next roundabout (The Gilberd school).
- Highwoods Sports Centre is located near the car park.
From Colchester Town Centre
- From the High Street go straight on to East Hill.
- At the bottom of East Hill you will come to a roundabout, go straight over.
- At the next mini roundabout take the left hand fork onto the Ipswich Road (A1232).
- You will then come to double roundabouts, turn left, then straight over onto Ipswich Road (A1232)
- Continue along Ipswich Road. At the roundabout turn left by the Rovers Tye pub.
- Go straight over the roundabout and then take the third exit at the next roundabout.
- At the next roundabout take the second exit (The Gilberd School).
- Highwoods Sports Centre is located near the car park.
