Charter Hall is a large, modern, multi-purpose venue, which annually hosts over 65 events entertaining over 50,000 people from Colchester and beyond.
Our exciting programme includes comedians, concerts, orchestras, conferences, exhibitions, children's events and fashion shows, delivering enjoyable entertainment for all ages.
The Hall is also used for very large private functions, product launches and commercial exhibitions, meeting the needs of local and national businesses. Fully equipped with concert PA, lighting grid and backstage facilities, Charter Hall can accommodate up to 1,200 people in tiered and floored seating. For exhibitions, the hall provides 890-1,500 sq.m of floor space.
Charter Hall is located at Colchester Leisure World which provides catering, technical support, a box office service and ancillary areas plus over 400 free car parking spaces.
